Fight Fit for Kids

Fight Fit has recognized that the number of children suffering from obesity due to lack of exercise and unbalanced diet habits has increased drastically over the past few years in the UK. Therefore we thought it is time to make a change and motivate children to get up and start enjoying fun exercise and healthy nutrition. Our team has developed a fun Fight Fit workout specifically tailored to the needs of children and teenagers and is currently delivered by some of our team members including former boxing champions in safe and enjoyable group classes.

Fight Fit is working in line with various government initiatives to fight obesity and unhealthy lifestyle habits in children/ teenagers by delivering great classes where children learn how to make sports and exercise an integral, fun part of their life.

Our goals are

To make fun and safe exercise training available to children and teenagers in order to fight obesity and support children and teenagers in establishing healthy lifestyle habits all over the UK

To teach fitness professionals how to deliver effective training to children and teenagers

Tips for parents who want to make a change in their kids' diet:

Mix fruit smoothies (they are a great, quick way for your child to reach the optimum fruit intake every day)

Get them active for 60 minutes a day; let them run, swim, skip, jump or play with a ball

Introduce healthy snacks (try our yummy veggie bowl recipe)

Veggie bowl snack:
Cut a bell pepper in half sideways, remove and discard seeds. Cut one half of the pepper into strips and then cut a few other veggies (i.e. carrots, broccoli, and celery work well) into bite sized pieces. Pour a bit of salad dressing into the other half of the pepper so that your child can dip the veggies.
